So the question is: what are we doing about it? One new response is the Urbanization Knowledge Platform—a collaborative partnership between researchers, policymakers, the private-sector, and knowledge brokers including the World Bank Group. The platform aims to become the leading ‘go-to’ hub for urban knowledge, by providing a compelling venue for interactions and by matching the incentives of multiple stakeholders in urbanization to contribute knowledge and learn from each other.
